I'm not bankrupted and never had ccj or anything from court.
Will this dept make a problem for my naturalisation application?

Thanks
Don't worry as long as you haven't declared bankruptcy or have ccj .... you are good

I am worse than you are and I got my BC

Just need a advice my husband applying for naturalisation, he has had IELts results the exam was taken in 2009 overall band 7.5. Last year when we applied for ILR was advised by lawyer to get another English text ( Cromwell college).

My question is can we still use IELTs although it's expired.

Kind regards

If you qualification is still on the list and if it has been accepted as a part of any previous UK immigration then you can use it.

You need to complete the form and write down previous times and where you have had your biometrics taken. Do not leave relevant questions blank.

I believe the questions which i mention in the screenshot are for those applicant who not submitting the BRP along with the application.
do you agree ?

The questions in the screen shot are for ALL applicants, including biometrics taken abroad and in the UK. Not all migrants have BRPs. The questions are very clear.

Yes for 6.14 and for question 6.15 you write wherever you had them done from your home country initially.

Hi
From what i Remember:
Life in UK certificates are valid for life - so you dont need to take another test if you have already passed one
It is the language test that normally needs to be retaken - esp since they changed the rules and now they only accept language certificates from approved UKVI centres

I might be wrong - those with more experience can correct me :P

thank you for ur reply
i have read this in the booklet (If you met the requirement to have sufficient knowledge of language and life in the UK when
you applied for settlement by having a B1 level test you do not have to demonstrate it
again. (People who applied for settlement on or after 28 October 2013 needed to have had
a B1 level qualification.)
can any one have more experience reply my question please

Thank you guys in advance.

Hi
Who is in charge with the Timeline Excel Spreadsheet?

I think its a really good tool to keep track in real time of what happens but i wonder if the editing can be limited in someway
People just go into the table and edit puts filters etc without knowing what they are doing?!

I went this morning to check it only to see that someone put my entry as Approved (dont get me wrong i wish it was but it isnt - unless the person who changed it knows more than me)

That really casts a shade of doubt of how accurate the entries are - since anyone can access and edit it - as they wish

It is not a spreadsheet that is controlled or set up by the forum or moderators. You will have to search for the username of who posted the link.

Hi all,

My wife has just got her ILR after being on Tier 1 general for 5 years.

We got married 2 months ago and I am a British citizen.

Can she apply for naturalisation as she has her ILR now and is married to a British citizen? Or does she have to wait for a year?
Note: she was not on a spouse visa.

Thanks!

She can apply now as spouse of British citizen provided she meets the standard requirements, including the absence limits in last 3 years.

Thats an interesting case, wouldn't the applicant have to be married to a BC for a period of 3 years?

A Biometrics question. My husband has already has it, as he had it done for ILR. Will he have to do it again? I'm hoping not as it only hold up the application and we don't have a place near us that does it.
SET M Via settlement Checking Service -05/03/14
Confirmation letter dated 10/03/14
Biometrics letter arrived- 26/03/14
Biometrics done- 28/03/14
IRL Granted after reconsideration (HO admin error) 18/12/14

Yes, he will have to do it again. There is no way of avoiding this step.
