British Citizen mother giving birth in Canada

Hi
Just a quick question
Me and my wife both British , we have friends and family living in Alberta ,Canada.
We were just wondering can we get Canadian Citizenship if my wife gives the birth to the baby in Canada?

On what grounds do you suppose such parents acquire such citizenship?

Canadians cannot sponsor siblings from abroad, and recent changes to immigration law have made it virtually impossible to sponsor parents.
