Hi Toni34
On the assumption you have previously been issued a residence card ie EEA2 as an unmarried partner, you should have a COA with right to work when you apply for PR.
Best wishes

Hello everyone, my name is chika I'm new to this site.

I'm non Eu married Europian man but I got divorced last year. My marriage to Europian man was lasted for four years, eleven months and fourteen days.

I sent my application to the home office in October 1st 2015 although I've received certificate to continue with my job also biometric has been sent.

Now my fear is ,my ex-husband was out of job for 4month in 2014 because he traveled to France to see his mum.

He came back after four month but he lost his job .

He found another job a month later. During the time he was out if job No compressive insurance because we didn't know that we were suppose to get that. That was the biggest mistake we made.

Is been 4months since I sent my application for permanent resident.

Can somebody help me.plsssss

@chika1983, I also submitted my application in October and after submitted the Biometric thing, Nothing from HO since then. I even applied with my EEA partner on the same form which I read on here that it help the processing to be more faster so hopefully we will get our pr this month because we are going away in February. Finger cross. As your case, You already submitted your application so there is nothing you can do about it at the moment than to sit back and be praying for the best.

Same here. Applied for EU and Non EU PR on the 4th of Jan, received by HO on the 6th, money taken on the 7th. No news after that. I guess we'll just have to wait. I don't think they have to send the COA within a certain time period but I might be wrong.

i think it is right time for you to call HO to know what's going on. You're entitle to call them if your application reach 6months. Goodluck

@Wael614, I think it would be better you called them yourself because not all those solicitors are straight forward. I have seen some cases about applications being refused and the solicitors or lawyers kept it as as secret to the applicants. They only knew about it after getting intouch to HO. You have the right to ring them directly because it is already past 6months and HO even said it that if it is more than 6months, applicants are free to get intouch . So feel free to ask them what is going on as long as you have the ref details. remember, talking to HO will not change anything about your application.

Dear all,

I started to worry as it has been 5 months and 13 days since the HO received my application in 13.08.2015. Biometrics were submitted and the COA were received.

Does somebody have the same experience?
Can you post your timelines

Did they ask for your ref no. at all when you are on the phone with them? because i don't know why they want to call you back instead of telling you to wait for your pr within 3-5 working days. Anyway give them till friday and see what will happen. Goodluck

Hello all

I applied for a retained residency and received my PR.

This is my timeline:
Sent application : 24/08/15
HO received: 25/08/15
Payment taken: 26/08/15
Received and submitted biometric form: 06/09/15
Received COA with right to work dated 30/09/15
Received documents with letter confirming PR: 25/01/2016.
DX Delivery rescheduled

It took exactly 5 months for the home office to issue PR. I'm very grateful for the advice and reassurances this forum offered and I wish everyone success in their application.

This is a stupid act from an immigration officer. PR should not be stamped as it is not a regular VISA. She must be new.
