References and address history

Hi All,

Straight to the points:

1) Does the HO ever call or contact your references. The reason I ask is that while they know me, they obviously will not be able to answer any detailed questions about me. Any instances of this in the past?

2) I do not have a copy of my ILR application and do not know the exact dates that I gave in that application for my previous addresses. I am conscious that the dates might be off by one day here or there. Is this likely to impact the application.

Answer to q1 it happens only occasionally, they might write to your referee it happens so randomly no one can predict.

Q2 No, missing a day here there wont have any impact on your application.
