This is a stupid act from an immigration officer. PR should not be stamped as it is not a regular VISA. She must be new.

That sound strange because how come she stamp such card that like a driver license? why can't she stamp your passport instead? Are you sure she know what she is doing?

Congrats Rmfc19 on your PR could you shed more light on your application and what information did you send?
Thanks[/quote]

I applied after divorce (marriage lasted approximately 5 years and I had 5 months validity on visa at the time of application. I submitted the following documents.

For myself:
P60's (about 4)
Payslips (about 10 to cover the 5 year period),
Tax contribution statement from HMRC (It takes up to 2 weeks to get this document)
Bank statements (at least 1 for each year)
Passport
Marriage certificate and decree absolute
Passport picture (2)

For Ex(to prove treaty right was exercised) I used:
Two current payslip before divorce
All P60s for the 5 year period
5 Bank statements (1 from each year)
and utility bills (Gas statements)
5 Mobile phone bill statement (1 from each year)

That sums it up. I didn't write a cover letter but I think it would have been much better if I did. I didn't enclose a pre-paid postage either (I wish I did as well, it would have saved me a lot of time from checking every day if I had mail because I could have tracked it).

have read this post gave me hope about the process time application.
I am EEA national living and working continuous in this country since 2001
I got married with a Brazilian in November 2010 and he got his visa (Residence Card of Family member of an EEA National) issued on march 2011 valid until 11/03/2016. I have the registration certificate done at the same time as his visa 08/03/2011.
I want now to apply for a PR for both of us.
I have filled up the form being the main applicant and my husband as a family member.
my question is on section 3 - about your application
3.1 - I ticket the second box I lived in the uk for a continuous period of five years.....
do I need to complete section 3.2 for my husband and this still about mine? if so do I need to tick box 1 and then complete the section 11 at some point? or just section 5,9,16,17,18 and 19
also we have a son (with British passport) as I was living and working in this country for more than 5 years when he born. do I need to send any document from him? it this will help my husband with his PR?
thank you

Hi peers,
Today my solicitor applied for my PR, my application is not so simple as my spouse She is a teacher and was tutoring as employed and self-employed.
Yearly earning are
year 2010/11 employed £ 2050 contracts with firms £ 5020 private tutoring £ 530

year 2011/12 employed £ 3060 contracts with firms £ 5080 private tutoring £ 3005

year 2012/13 employed £ 0 contracts with firms £ 0 private tutoring £ 8045

year 2014/15 employed £ 6080 contracts with firms £ 3002 private tutoring £ 530

We don't have invoices of private tutoring but since 2010 we have website, twitter,Facebook and other proofs of business advertisement and money can be seen coming from all firms and cash into the account.Plus my accountant has written a letter of business confirmation.

Sending you new coa never mean that you cannot call or write them again because your application us already more than 6 months and receiving another coa never mean you will not receive your package anytime from now and if I am you, I will ring them again on Monday and will not say anything about the new coa.

Hi

I was appeared in my hearing in jan 2016 regarding my PR refusal (EEA self employment basis). The Judge hear both sides and told us that he will make decision in two weeks and post the decision to us.

This will clear the following points if we win,

1: Minimum income for self employed EEA national per week to be considered self employed
2: Minimum Hours of work per week to be considered self employed
3: Is maternity leave to be considered as valid time to to be considered for right to reside status.
4: Gaps between earning as there is always no guaranteed work in self employment work
5: effect of benefits in application for PR

Wish me good luck for good outcome.

hi akz,
I need your guidance as my wife is also part self-employed and part employed. since 2010-2015 in her employment she earned around £11000 in contracts with different companies she earned like £ 16000 ( some receipt and contract given also money in statement), around £23000 by private tuition ( no receipts but website, twitter,Facebook since 2010 and business leaflets cash coming in account).

Hi akz,
I wish you very good luck and hope your case will be successful.Don't you worry
I am just not happy with the solicitor and her way of presenting but now she has sent the case there were mistakes in the covering letter which I had to correct and that makes me angry
We didn't had all the all payslip of her employment £ 11000 but had the summary and employment contracts,
For self-employment £ 16000 again very few invoices but we had all the contracts and proofs,
For private tuition £ 23000 we had nothing just cash coming in account plus letters from two students,
She also has a website, twitter,Facebook and Linkedin accounts with feedback and followings since 2010
We also provided letter from accounts, NI and tax papers.
Since 1-12-2015 she was working as part time teacher £14000/year and June 2015 she is working as full time employed teacher earning 37000/year but again very few payslip we have proofs of wages in statment.
please keep me updated on your case outcome
