What is the best way of bringing my son to uk from nigeria , he was born before i get my ilr and british passport and his 7yrs old now

1. father has Leave to remain has at the time of birth of the boy and mother no status lives in nigeria .
2. Now father has british passport in 2014 but mother has no status still lives in nigeria

Unless the mother is also joining you in the UK, the child will not be able to come on their own. If both plan to come to the UK, you need to apply for settlement visas and meet ALL the requirements.

Your ILR and citizenship has no relevance to your child's status and he does not qualify for CoE, RoA or MN1.

Children born abroad have the status of the less-privileged parent.

If the mother has no status, neither does the child.

But if the mother is not coming to join me in uk and am bringing my boy alone . bcos she has her businees that she doing overthere .
