Post by PutiniEEA »

What documents do i need ???

And my partner is on EEA2 visa (married with non eu), at the moment, i dont need to show 18000 or 20000 (whatever)

If i acquire ILR , do i need to show 18k or 20k for my partner???

An EU National (or family) can't apply for ILR. ILR is for someone on a route to settlement under UK Rules. You would have to apply for confirmation of PR, assuming your partner has exercised their Treaty rights in the UK continually for at least 5 years.

Take the time to do a little reading. Contrary to opinion, neither CR001 or I have all the facts and figures for all the permits and all the visas stored on the UKVI website. :roll:

If you are EEA citizen who is applying for a document certifying permanent residence, the current form to use is EEA(PR). However, the form is 85 pages long and can be quite confusing if you don't know what you're doing as it's about 4 forms rolled into one.

You can use an older version of the form, which for you would be EEA3. It's much shorter and simpler and UKVI cannot refuse an application made on an older form as long as the correct information, documents and payment is supplied.

Thanks guys fir valuable replies.

I came in july 2011, but i couldnt find job then i was on jobcenter nearly 1 year but in between this 1 year . I was working but not regularly, sometimes i had work sometimes not.

So roughly i can say 1 year on job centre, so my question is , how i can prove my 5 years with employment.

This 1 year job centre stuff is confusing me , i have some of my job centre documents but not all of them.

Help please

Thanks

You will need good (if not unimpeachable) documentary evidence of exercising treaty rights continuously for 5 years as a qualified person.

A Qualified person can be any combination of:
worker;
jobseeker;
self-employed;
student - note: CSI required;
self-sufficient - note: CSI required;

Note that unexplained gaps are not good.

HO also now play hardball with its 'gpow' test & timelimits on jobseekers.

Any absences from UK need to have been within prescribed limits in order to maintain continuity of residence in UK too.
