Hi "BDPK" As I have mentioned earlier I have applied my ILR on 08th October,2015 and got a query from Case Worker on 29 Jan,2016 and he motioned his name and address on that letter . Do you have any idea that what is the procedure after replying query back to Case Worker? How long does it take to decide after that? I know its weird to ask but as you can understand I am bit worried at the moment.
Thanks!
Hi anumkh wht your query , do u think u can share on form? Or can share me on private msg pls . Thanks

Dear " BDPK" its already on forum but I can share it again. Case worker was asking " Why I didn't apply my son ( who was born in UK) ILR application inline with me and my Husband application"? Please note I applied his Tier 1 G extension with me 2 years back. His Visa expired but hence he was born in UK so, I took the liberty just to save £ 1500 and didn't apply his ILR with me. I was thinking that once I get my ILR , I will register him as a British Citizen through MN1 Form. I have applied that query and wrote it down the same reason that I have mentioned above.

Hi @Chidy,

Can you please share the date from which your ILR has started. Was it from Sep-15 or did it start from Feb-2016.

I see that this can make a huge difference in when you can apply for Citizenship.

I am trying to decide between a postal application or a PEO appointment but worried that a postal application migth delay the citizenship process by a few months.

Cheers

ILR date of grant is the date the decision is made and NOT the date of application. If a person applies by post, their existing visa conditions continue until a decision is made.

Hi eclairs,
A massive congratulations to you. Very good news indeed. I am also Employed and running a company. I am planning to apply by post. Would be kind enough to tell me if you had to submit self-assessment as a company director as my accountant told me that since I took salary from the company (No dividend) and I paid employee and employer's both NI and tax, I don't have to submit SA. But, there seems to be some confusions as what to do when someone is only taking salary from the company. HO is asking for SA for those who showing income from own company. I would appreciate if you could explain your situation. Many many thanks.

Hello Guys,

I have applied for Ilr set(o) Employed + self employed from Tier 1 General Route along with 1 dependant

Date of application 10/02/16
Application received by Home office 11/02/16
Payment made by Debit card
Payment taken on 15/02/16

I am still waiting for any sort of acknowledgent letter/ biomatrics letter from Home office. My wife applied for her visa on 12/02/16 and she received her acknowlwdgement letter along with Biomatrics letter on 19/02/16.

Since my current leave to remain expired on 14/02/16, my employer have suspended me from work and give me grace period of 1 more week before they fire me. They have done Employee Check and since my application is not logged by a case worker, home office can not confirm my application and they have send a negative verification on the basis of which i cant work.

I am woried that i will loose my job if i dont received my biometric letter or case ID from Home office for my ILR application.

Ususllay how long does it takes for Home office to log an application once the payment have been made ?

Can some one help me to know how to request biomatircs letter from Home office.

You suggent means a lot

Many Thanks
