current processing time for SEGS scheme application ???

Hi all,
Can anybody give me an idea about current processing time for applications under SEG scheme ? I heard, its taking 2-3 months. Is it correct?
Secondly, I can take the appointment for the same day processing. Is there also a backlog in the appointment system or the appointments are quick.

Have't found so many posts about SEGS on the forum. Appreciate your input about above 2 questions.

OK, actually i posed this msg on somebody's request. He found out that it takes about 2 weeks to get an appointment for same-day processing.

But there is still no idea about the processting time for the postal applications under SEG.
