Increase in Visa fees

Post by shaz123 » Mon Mar 14, 2016 10:53 pm

Am I correct in saying the fee for a Spouse Visa will increase this Friday 18th of March?

At what point do they charge the fee? As in, if I do an online application on the 17th March would I still be paying the old fee?

Yes, it is Friday that they increase.

Where are you applying from?

Hi CR001,

I am applying from India for my wife in the first week of April. Would you know how much that has been increased by?
Also do i need to fill in the sponsor form for her visa?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

No, you don't need to complete the SU07 sponsorship undertaking form.

Hi,

I applied in feb 2016 end.

Sponsorship form is mandatory, VFS specifically asked for this along with the application and appendix.

Thanks
Priya

It is not mandatory for a spouse visa, which this thread is about. It is mandatory for some other visas in this group of settlement visas.

Is that correct we do not need SU07 form? Our last UK Visa application (spouse) which was refused due to missing evidence, also had a SU07 we were told we needed it???
04/1/16 UK Spouse application
06/1/16 rejected
11/1/16 appealed
01/2/16 payment
29/3/16 IA10
25/4/16 Original decision withdrawn
20/5/16 Appears thatECO \ BHC Delhi do not communicate
23/5/16 complaint raised
23/5/16 Passport submitted

I am applying from the UK on behalf of my wife. Does it make a difference which country?

No, but currency exchange rates will apply. (which why I suspect CR001 asked the question).
