ILR ON 10 YEARS LONG RESIDENCY BASIS

Post by SAM143 » Fri Mar 25, 2016 8:33 pm

Hi all members,
i am new member here this is my 1st post.
i am going to apply ILR on 10 yrs basis on 1st week of August 2016.
i have concern about non payments of council tax,i was living in a property which included all bills ,during my residency i received court summons from magistrates court on my name which i took it to landlord he said i will sorted out.Later on i received some bailiffs letter which mentioned outstanding CT.During this time i just moved the property and not sure what happened.recently i found old council letter and came to know i owe some money by using 8 digit ref and paid by using online payment link.
however, from above situation i would like to ask some information for following Q!
1)THERE IS ONLY 1 COUNCIL TAX REF AT SAME PROPERTY?(i used to make payments £400.00)
2) I CHECKED MY CREDIT REPORT THERE IS NO COURT JUDGEMENT
3)I OBTAIN TRUST ONLINE REPORT TO CHECK MY RECORDS WHICH SHOWS THERE IS NOTHING REGISTERED
4)I JUST RED NON PAYMENT OF CT COULD RESULT CREAT LIABILITY ORDER,BANKCRUPT OR IMPRISONMENT POSSIBILLY
5)IF THERE IS NOTHING DO U THINK I AM FINE FOR MY ILR
if someone could put light on this issue will be highly appreciated and millions of thanks

If you have paid it then it should not be an issue.

Have you had confirmation from the Council who issued the debt letter that the outstanding tax has been paid? Your post is confusing. :?

Well it seems that the Council did send you a letter as you wrote "i found old council letter and came to know i owe some money by using 8 digit ref and paid by using online payment link."
I suggest you call the number on the letter and confirm that the payment you made cleared the outstanding tax. If it has, then there is no reason for concern.
