flr m cat-b

Post by insanityjobs » Mon Mar 28, 2016 9:36 am

Hello all genius people!!
Will we meet financial requirements under cat-b in 3 months?

Annual pay £8400 (for 3years)
Mrs Annual pay £6800(for 2years)
mrs got new job in March annual pay £14000
Will we qualify under category B by May?
As I checked our annualised pay over £20k
Also by may we will have earned £18700 in total in past 12 months?

Please experts, really need your expertise on it?

Much much appreciated!!!

Forgot to add that mrs has got one more job. (Means she hasn't left £6800 one and started one more job that pays £14000)

Thanks a lot!

Not before August when your wife will have been in her second job for 6 months.

thanks casa for your time.

But she isnt leaving her £6800 job but also gonna do £14000 job as well.

In that way both parts of cat-B seems to be met?
first annual salaries £6800+£8400+£14000(less than 6 months)=£292000
Second annual income in 12 months before application 6800+8400+3500(14000X3/12) =£18700

I am so confused dont know what to do?

Many Thanks

Also casa if we waited til August this will become Cat-A, wouldn't it?
But if we are just meeting requirements in May under Cat-B, can we not apply under cat-B instead?
sorry about too many questions, we really dont know what to do
we are applying for FLR FP and gonna try to vary it with FLR M, My visa running out in the end of April :(

OK. Going by your figures it appears that you should be good to go as soon as you can show you've met the £18,600 minimum earnings level in the 12 month period prior to submitting the application.

5.3.4. First, where the applicant’s partner and/or the applicant (if they are in the UK with
permission to work) is in salaried employment at the date of application and has been
with the same employer, or earning the amount relied upon, for less than the last 6
months, they can count the gross annual salary at the date of application towards the
financial requirement. There is no required minimum period for this current employment,
provided that the requirements for specified evidence under paragraph 2 of Appendix
FM-SE can be met in respect of it.

and
5.3.9. Second, the person must in addition have received in the 12 months prior to the
date of application the level of income required to meet the financial requirement,
based on:
 The gross amount of salaried or non-salaried employment income of the applicant’s
partner (in the UK or overseas) and/or the applicant (if they are in the UK with
permission to work);
