As per this, I think one can apply as long as you 'acquired' PR 12 months ago regardless of your document confirming it. Unless I am reading it wrong?

I have read AN booklet from that thread look like if i want to apply now i need to submit again all documents to prove the period of residency. I prefer to do it straight forward by waiting till next year and just submit my brp card along with other required documents beside i need to get B1 & life in the uk test done and most important thing save up money for the fee which just gone up last month.

Welcome back , it was just immigration check at my house from 3 officers early morning , asked some questions for 10 min , but overall was good , so was expecting them to answer me in few days but they didnt , then i called them , they told mel you have nothing to do but waiting

Finally i got it today after long wait now its over 7 monthes , but got it , cant believe i got it thanx god , hope for the guys who is waiting to get it ..all the best

some great news for me. I received my docs yesterday with my PR letter stating that my BRP will arrive shortly.

This forum as been nothing but a wealth of good news and understanding to read... it serves to know that "you" are not the only person waiting out there.

Here is my timeline as a non EEA family member (who did not use a solicitor)

Application sent: 28th October 2015
Biometric sent: November 2015
COA received : December 2015
Marriage interview: 26th April 2016
PR Received: 3rd June 2016 (Dated 17th May 2016)

Like you all, the wait was killing me... but so happy to say that it has finally come.

Keep up the faith all. My advise.. if its a genuine case, it will happen in your favour... just takes a bit longer as i think that department is terribly understaffed.
