Job 3: Letter from employer, Payslips, Bank statement

Residence evidence: 3 - just one for each address.

If it's not private, could you share the reason why it has been refused?

I am shocked they rejected your application ....I am waiting for my decision and I haven't worked 5 years completely as well. Compared to you I worked pretty much the same 4 years and 4 month (2 jobs) and I was on Job Seeker allowance for 6 months in between jobs. And I read that if you are on JSW or student you are still qualified...it was not clear specified ( or I missed it) that you need to work for 5 years.

I am Italian too. I have been working in UK since 2010 (6 years).
I had a daughter last year and I managed get her British Nationality with less documents I have sent now.

I am 56 days now. Average of approval or refusal looks 60 days. I may find out shortly.

Hi

May I ask how many bank statements and payslips did you send for every year. I struggle to understand what is the minimum of documents accepted per year. They say a variety of documents for every period. It sound very generic :?

My partner has just received her documents back, timeline below

Application sent: 22 Feb
Confirmation email: 11 March
DCPR received: 20 April (dated 14 April)

I have sent mine a month earlier but still waiting.
My timeline:
Documents sent: 23.01.2016
Documents received: 25.01.2016
Payment taken: 27.01.2016
No confirmation email received, but I have requested my passport back and there is a letter with a case number assigned.

I did not have full bank statement so I went to the bank (LLoyds) and I asked to print out statement listing only payments from the companies I have been working for. The bank put a stamp on each page to make them official.
Job 1: No payslips and no P60 and no+ P45 so I managed to get letter from the manager and bank statement.
Job 2: I only had two payslips and the P45 plus letter from manager and bank statement.
Job 3: I had all the payslips (3years and 5 months - 39 in totals) plus letter from manager and bank statement.

Hi there,
Quick question regarding PR and child benefit: Is it possible to claim child benefit during the 5 year qualifying period? I keep reading on this forum that people are receiving child benefit and I was under the impression that PR would not be granted if benefits were claimed and that includes child benefit!? Can someone shed some light on this please?
Thanks

I don't think 60 days its a standard timeline for getting your application processed. As far as I can see from other people timeline, sometimes its takes around 60 days but sometimes it takes more.

Did everyone who received the PR receive in back in 2 separate mails? I mean the PR sent separately the the originals documents in the pre-paid envelope? Or they sent it all together, I mean the PR+original documents in the same envelope?

Cheers

No. It arrived in recorded post and I was in London at the time so I missed it, and found the card from Royal Mail when I got home. I knew immediately what it was as it was the only thing I was expecting that might need to be signed for :)

Few people who applied in February are getting an answer in these days from UKIV either accepted or refused. I said average is 60 days. I applied the 24th or February so I may find it out soon :D
Of course it's not a standard depending on the complexity of the case and on the case worker.

Question:
Did we need to add a pre-paid envelop? I don't remember if I did it...

The envelope was optional. I just wanted to make sure I can track it and I thought it is safer to enclose a next day delivery one.

I'm sure child benefit is not a problem as nearly everyone gets it, so don't worry :)

Hi guys,
I have another question. When applying for citizenship (after getting PR card), there is a condition not be be out of country for more than 90 days in the past year. What i'd like to know, does it apply only till the date of application, or ..?

My situation: I already spent 80 days out of country since last summer, but was planning to travel again. Although, i was thinking, if i apply for naturalisation/passport in august, can i then (after sending the application) exceed my 90 days allowance?

Thanks

As far as I know you need to be less than 90 days away of the country in the last 12 month from the date you are sending the application.

You can't be out of the country for more than 90 days in the 12 months before the application for naturalisation.

HO can exercise discretion in this though, and as long as you meet all other requirements, they can normally disregard absences of up to 100 days in the last 12 months.

So after the application is sent (with 80 days of absence), i can leave the country again (and reach lets say 120 days) ?

As far as I know, it doesn't matter how much time you spend out to the country once the application is sent.
