No, Not yet..waiting anxiously not even the first step is clear..leave alone when the approval will happen! may be 12 months

Recieved my passport today . It took around 10 working days ,after my ceremony took place ,to receive the passport . I sincerely thank every one in the group . Wishing every one good luck . I overheard at the post office today ,that JCAPS now is open to all councils . Not sure how far this is true .

Looks like Jcap applications taking long these days. I applied in march first week and still no news.

We the family applied in mid Feb 2016 and still waiting.

Yes look like either the JCAP applicants get approval very fast if they are lucky other wise they are just terated like normal applicants.

Hopefully we will receive approvals very soon.

But strange thing
As I am contantly checking the forum timelines (since Octor 2105 to Feb 2016) its not only the JCAP applicants to me it looks like the normal applicants are also not getting approvals. (Might be HO had a huge back log due to high volume of applications received in March 2016 and that can be the r eason for delay.

I have only seen couple of approvals for Jan,Feb and March application since 15th April. Has no one received any approvals or memebers are not updating their timeline. If anyone received approvals please update. It will be helpful. Thanks

I am one of the JCAP applicants who applied in mid Feb 2016 and you are right about the number of approvals posted as they have frastically gone down.

Few of the many reasons
- High volume of applications received by HO due to fee increase.
- Applicants are not updating their time lines frequently as they used to do before.

Might be others can also mention reasons other than I have mentioned

Don't forget about the high number of EEA applicants in the run up to the referendum

I went for Holidays on 29th Mar....returned yesterday with the hope of receiving brown envelope on my door step...but nothing from Home Office...I was the first one to post on Feb time line as I applied on 02/02/2016 and submitted Bio metrics on 18/02/2016...so nearly 3 months since application...

I'm about to post my application for naturalisation I want to find out

I ticked the option for English language requirement that I've met that on my ilr application applied after October 2013 and only sending my life in uk pass notification letter.

Is that ok or shall I send my masters degree for English language which from uk.

Can anyone send link for timeline database?

Is there any difference in terms of processing time between postal applications and NCS.

march applicants start receive their approvals its a good sign ,but still we (April applicant )waiting for money to be deduct,I am not sure how long we needs to wait?? I do under stand they receive huge numbers of applications during the month of march and April but they should have some alternative options to sort it out .every year April same thing happens and they expect these ///what should we do apart from waiting

It must be the back log because my JCAP application got to the Home office on 07.04.16 and the money has still not been deducted from my account. So far, i have seen just one april applicant with payment deduction and this person applied on 01/04.

Is there any specific pattern here? As in Employed apps are progressing quicker than Self employed ones?

Would be great if members who are waiting since their Biometric can provide any updates if they have had one since......

Because JCAP is no longer pilot and is now offered by almost all the councils.....

It really matters on the caseworker and luck, doesn't matter if you go through NCS it does not speed it up.

hi,
look at march time line postal applicants getting faster approval to compare others ,its all depends the luck and how clear your history with HO.

Applied via JCAP in Feb and got approval dated 16th April 2016 (Received letter on 20th Apr). Have updated the FEB timeline thread. Best of luck !

Thanks. Does this (Joint Citzienship and Passport Service (JCAP) has to be through Council checking service or can be sent direct to HO ( that could save money).
