correction of citizenship certificate

Hi All,

i had a query regarding correction of citizenship certificate. My wife got her citizenship certificate in march 2015 and since her surname at birth was spelled incorrectly, we sent it for correction in august 2015. However we are yet to get it back. We called them in January 2016 and they said that it has been received but the person on the phone did not know anything else. He advised us to ask about it in writing for which we send a letter in February 2016 but have not received any reply. Could anyone advice what to do about it? has it taken that long for anyone else? Thank you
