OCI for family

Post by ksegal » Sat May 21, 2016 9:15 am

Hi

My enquiry is whether I can make an application for OCI for all in my family of three at the same time. Please can an experienced person advise:

- I surrendered my Indian passport about year and a half back and got the surrender certificate. I am a British national now.
- My wife is not Indian. I understand that she can apply for OCI as I was previously an Indian national
- My son is British

Thanks
KS

Hi Ksegal

I don't think that would be possible.

1) apply for your OCI
2) apply for your wife' and son's OCI after you have your OCI as it is part of the required prof if applying for OCI as a spouse of an OCI holder
Feb 2012 - Spouse Visa - New Delhi
Mar 2012 - Documents collected - VISA Granted
March 2014 - ILR Granted
Apr 2015 - Applied for Naturalisation
Nov 2015 - Naturalised
