Hi all,

I'm a non EU citizen with a registered civil partnership with an EU citizen. We both moved to UK in may/2011 and have just applied for the PR on the 6th of June. Payment taken on the 9th of June and we've not heard a word since then. Even my biometrics letter hasn't arrived, which is weird as they say it is meant to be delivered within a month after the payment is taken.
Anyone experiencing similar issues?

Thanks.

Confirmation e-mail received: 10/06/16

Phoned them as well on the 6th only to be told to wait a few more days to see wether they make a contact.
Phoned them again around 10/07 and been told if progress request was submitted that prods them to react.

Now waiting for the permanent residence certificate and card...

So, I finally gave up and requested my passport back as it seems some get an email confirmation after if nothing else. I did not think I would need to do this on day 97 but as they do not seem any nearer sending my DCPR this might wake the caseworker up.

No. It's been two weeks already. Or maybe more? I lost track to be honest

I also sent an email to complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk but I haven't received anything from them either.

Finally, my MP got involved but I think he's receiving the same sort of treatment :x

Have this sinking feeling they will take another age then find some admin reason (we've seen so many on here where they can't see the papers in front of them) to turn it down... but let's hope they have just lost their mail room trolley and they are all on the way.

Hi all,

We have received our passports back! Finally! We can now travel on the 20th July as hoped. Still awaiting PR though...

Timeline is:
Application for PR (non-EEA applicant) sent: 23.01.16
Received by HO: 26.01.16
Biometrics letter received: 12.02.16
Biometrics given: 13.02.16
COA letter with right to work received: 02.03.16
Passports requested back: 25.06.16
'Documents not received' form submitted: 08.07.16, 09.07.16, 11.07.16, 12.07.16, 13.07.16 (basically one a day - not sure whether to any avail but thought it was worth a try - we were getting desperate!)
Called HO phoneline twice over last two weeks - very unhelpful but an email provided to us second time we called: liverpooleuro.passportreturns@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
Email sent to liverpooleuro.passportreturns@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and liverpooleuro.passportreturns@ukba.gsi.gov.uk AND complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk: 14.07.16
Passports arrived back: 15.07.16 (letter dated 13.07.16)
PR: ???

My question now is, we are travelling to Spain on 20.07.16, returning ten days later. Will we have trouble re-entering the UK? My (non-EEA national) RC in my passport expired on 05.07.16...

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Our timeline is (EEA and non-EEA applicants):

Application for PR sent: 31.01.16
Received by HO: 01.02.16
Biometrics letter dated: 08.03.16 (it was their 2nd attempt, we didn't receive their 1st letter)
Biometrics given: 14.03.16
COA letter dated: 17.03.16
PR: still waiting (it's been 5.5 months since HO received our application)

We need to travel on 18.08.16 to the country I don't need a visa for and we were also wondering if we request my passport back, will I have any problems returning back to the UK with just my passport and COA since my RC expired in the end of May? Also has anyone requested back and received their marriage certificate (maybe useful when returning back to the UK without PR)?

Has anyone who applied in January-February 2016 as non-EEA received their PR yet?

Thanks a lot! And good luck to everyone!

I am a German national applying with 3 family members, also German nationals living here for almost 11 years (i know we should have done this ages ago), and the form under family member asks for a Home Office reference number which we do not have and the relationship to the sponsor, so am I supposed to be the sponsor for them.

And for absences, I can't remember the exact dates of some holidays in 2008 and 2009 to France and Denmark (each around 2 weeks) so should I just write "unsure of exact dates" over the place where it asks for the date of departure and return and write 14 in the number of days.

(absolutely petrified that they will reject the form for a small admin error) :?

Hi all,

This is my first post but I've been reading for a while. These boards have been an invaluable source of information that helped with my application. I know that a lot of you are waiting for your docs, so I thought I'd post my timeline with some encouraging news.

Application sent: 27/04/2016
Application received: 28/04/2016
Payment taken: 29/04/2016
Confirmation email: 30/05/2016
PR received: 16/07/2016

I'm an EEA A8 national, with a straightforward case. Such a relief to receive everything back, especially as my holiday is approaching. Will be sending SAR asap, as I've lived in the UK and sent evidence for more than 6 years, so hoping that the date on record reflects that. Has anyone tried fast track SAR?

In terms of evidence I sent:
- only printed relevant pages of the current application. It was 25 pages in total;
- a letter from the current employer and correspondence from the previous employer reflecting start and end date of my employment
- WRS
- all p60s
- 2 payslips per year
- 1 bank statement per year
- 2-3 letters as a proof of address (utility bills, mobile contracts, DVLA tax code reminders, etc)

As someone had suggested, I organised and grouped everything chronologically in folders - employment, statements, other. All docs have been returned grouped in same folders.

Thanks to all the people who contribute to these forums. Good luck to all still waiting for their documents!

Hi,

Easy way is to enter UK by road (Frace would be nice for you). It is hard to board with any airlines as you do not have any valid rc or visa.

When you reach to UK border show them your COA and proof of addres s- better if you have EU spouse- etc and tell them you had to travel and waiting your case decision

You have mentioned you submitted more than 6 years of evidence. Do you mind tell us what date you RP is issue from?
Many Thanks

On Friday evening I got an email from HO asking for more evidence, asking for two points to be completed. I sent the additional info on Saturday morning that should arrive today. They said that should be enough to issue, so now I cross my fingers and wait.
