Hello Everyone,

I am an EEA national (Dutch) and have a PR since 2008. My wife residence card expired recently. We have two kids both are british nationals.

We sent the application for my wife's PR. We included the following supporting documents. My wife never worked in the UK and looked after the children.

1. proof of employment for the last five years
2. marriage certificate
3. payslips and p60
4. bank statement of mine for the last six months.

We received a letter for biometric enrollment, which we will do this week. Do you guys think that we need to send further supporting documents, if yes, then what else can we send?

Thanks to all and good luck

You need to prove to caseworker's satisfaction:
  • both person's identities;
    your relationship;
    proof of residency (both parties);
    sponsor's status (in your case, you say PR status);
    absences with prescribed limits (both parties).

My understanding is, application is considered to have been filed when biometrics have been enrolled.
