Naturalisation and English Test

Post by spooklightCW » Fri Jan 14, 2005 4:40 pm

Hi,

I am now ready to submit my application for naturalisation with supporting documents.

I included all my certificate from my University to prove that I can speak/write and understand English fluently.

I saw on the homeoffice website to submit those certificates.

Are they gonna assess it first whether I will take an English test or not???

A little more information would be appreciated.

Thanks very much
Catwoman

Hi Catwoman24_1400,
you do not need to send in original copies of your certificates. Photocopies will do. Secondly, the copies of the certificates are to verify your level of English. You also need to send in one certificate copy as long as it is equivalent to or above a Level 2 qualification, i.e. GCSE and above, so your University copy will do
