I think there are 4 of us on this forum with EU national only applications from May 11th or earlier still outstanding. I think I saw one posting saying they applied on April 20th or something. I'm sure we'll hear something in the next week or so. I'm optimistic.

Hi guys, first post here.

Just sharing my timeline.

EEA national

Application sent: 05/08/2016
Application received: 08/08/2016
Payment taken: 09/08/2016
Confirmation Email with Case ID received: 07/09/2016
....
DCPR issued: N/A
DCPR received: N/A

So far it seems pretty consistent lately that

a) payment is taken immediately when application is received
b) confirmation mail is sent one month later.

Now bracing for the long wait.
My optimistic scenario is that I'll get DCPR by year's end.

Update on my timeline, possibly useful for anyone else wanting to request back their passports (was pleasantly surprised that it took exactly 10 working days). It was returned in a signed-for envelope.

Timeline (EU14 national):
Documents sent: 27.07.2016
Documents received: 28.07.2016
Payment taken: 29.07.2016
Confirmation email received: 23.08.2016
Passport requested back: 15.08.2016
Passport received: 30.08.2016
DCPR dated: n/a
DCPR received: n/a
Total: n/a
nomader wrote:Hi everyone, for some time I have been a silent watcher of this forum, which has been immensely helpful. Finally submitted my application a couple of weeks ago but understand that I could be waiting up to 6 months.

I knew that I needed to request my passport back asap, but was wondering whether it's necessary to wait for a confirmation email (which, in most cases, seems to take about a month after submitting your application) or just 10 working days? I'm travelling in October and want to leave enough time to get my passport back. Thanks in advance.

Timeline so far (EU14 national):
Documents sent: 27.07.2016
Documents received: 28.07.2016
Payment taken: 29.07.2016
Confirmation email received: not yet

Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Post by Lalka123 » Thu Sep 08, 2016 9:40 pm

Hi all,

I have just applied for PR 2 days ago. Have been in UK since 2007. I have submitted lots of docs but most of them are dated from 2011 (and ideally I should have attached also 2010 - I have somehow misread that bit ) I have some from before that time like tenancy agreement, Nvq certificate, P60, job offer and WRS but in compartment to the documents I submitted for 2011-2016 it doesn't look so consistent. I really wanted to apply for Citizenship once I got my PR but I am not sure now if this will be enough for HO to include this period of time and certify that I had gained my permanent residency by the end of 2012. Is there any chance I can submit some more documents on my own accord so the other years will count as well. Has anyone heard of someone or had similar experience ?
Thanks in advanced for your advices :D

Does anyone know if the fact that they too the fee for PR means automatically being granted the PR? Or HO charges you the £65 regardless of the decision.

Also, has anyone been charged twice? because this is what happened to me and I'm not sure how to contact them to claim the half of £130 back.

Thanks in advance

There is no sender's address on my envelop but my own. So, don't know where is it coming from.

Think it is still early for that. People who applied in early March have just started to receive PR. Early May applicants are likely to start receiving theirs end of October, early November.

Applicants from May already started receiving DCPR. Please check earlier threads.

For DCPR (EU/EEA nationals only), then yes. But abyss201's application is non-EU with EU spouse (PR + DCPR) and will likely receive their documents, as I mentioned earlier, end of October/early November.

I have only submitted non eu - PR application and not for EU spouse- DCPR. I was aware of the DCPR timelines and was hoping that non-eu PR & EU-DCPR timelines maybe similar & so the query but guess its not.
Thanks for the response Chlrl & riders.

Hi all,
I am joining the boat !
I am a EU citizen (French), I have studied in the UK in 2009-2010 and get a job here right after. I have been fully employed since. So I think my case is quite standard.

Here is my timeline so far
Application sent: 24/08/2016
Application received: 25/08/2016
Payment taken: 30/08/2016
Confirmation e-mail: ???
...

bogy_sv and gtht have similar profile, they applied in May and got their card in 107 and 119 days respectively. I have posted my application post Referendum so there is obviously a substantial risk that the timeline will be longer.
I will be following nomader and johnkk closely, as their profiles are similar and they also applied post Referendum (27 July and 5 August). Assuming a same processing time as bogy_sv and gtht, you should expect your card in the second half of November. The assumption is however probably too optimistic.

I sent my national ID card, so I still have my passport and therefore no urgency to claim the ID back. That being said I was still thinking to do so just in case. Any idea whether this risks to delay the overall process ?

Thanks and good luck to all !

Hi guys,
Did anyone apply for DCPR (EEA national) at the end of April and still haven't received the answer?
The HO received mine on 20/4, took the payment on 22/4 and apart from the acknowledgement email nothing else so far...
