Applying for EEA Family Permit!

Post by CitzApp2021 » Tue Sep 13, 2016 9:43 pm

Everyone,

I have few question regarding applying for family Permit(FP) hope I can find some answers here.

I'm living in Ireland for the past 10 months with my dad (British Citizen), I(Non-EU) received my temporary Stamp 4 in July and now waiting for the Residence Card(RC) decision. Before we moved to Ireland I was a student in UK for the past 5 years and I successfully graduated from Uni. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a settlement visa in the UK so we deiced to move to Ireland and exercise their treaty rights.

As an over 21 dependent child(I'm 23) we wish to move back to England don't want to wait until February or March for RC decisions to be made. So we wish to apply for FP soon as a I receive my PPS number.

Reasons why I want to move back to UK:
1) Difficult to find a graduate Jobs with Stamp 4 temporary visa.
2) I would like to continue my master in a top University in UK.
3) Don't want to live in my fathers' hard earned money, I want to start working ASAP.
3) My dad could easily find a better Job and all his friends and family lives there.

Question:
1) Do I(Non-Eu) require PPS number to apply for FP?
2) In the online application what "Type of visa" should I chose?
3) What are the documents I should submit, do I need to make copies?
4) Does the EU citizen need to company me to the FP interview in Dublin?

Thank you in advance :)

How do you fulfill centre of life requirements:
  • Where is rest of immediate family?
What happened to your house/home in UK?

My dad registered as a self-employed and running an online business and we rented a 2 bedroom apartment been living in the same address since end of December.

It's just us myself and dad who lives here.

We lived in rented house back in UK too.

Do you have other family members who stayed in UK?
Did you keep the house in UK whilst you have been living in Eire?

Not quite sure how that will be treated in terms of moving centre of life if brother is part of immediate family.

3) See guidance;

4) Follow instructions in any letter/mail.

Well, he has never been financially dependent on my father. he lives and works alone. Would his presence in the UK taken into the account when the decision is made?

Thank you for the answers/links BTW :)
