In other posts you have claimed to be applying for JR and for a family visitor visa. Pointless padding posts to obtain PM access will result in the PM facility being permanently restricted.

Not pointless Casa, PR is for my wife. And whats your loss in getting access to pm i only want to help people who are making files without lawyers. I also have disabled adblocker to support this website because it helped me alot.

Payment taken: 19/09/2016(T + 3)(following working day basically)
Confirmation Email: 03/10/2016 (T + 17)
DCPR: ?

At the same time I'm waiting for the appeal I lodged on 22/08. Let's see which one gets resolved first
Just received confirmation email - exactly 17 days after they received my application. This is much, much faster than I've seen in the past 7 months or more.

Would anyone happen to know the best way to get your documents back? I'm being chased to do a DBS for volunteering I do but I literally can't until I get all my documents back! I received my email stating it would take up to 6 months on the 12th of September. Do they really wait that long to send you your documents back or do they send them back sooner? what are people supposed to do without ID documents??

Request them back online, should take about 10 working days (although in reality it may be a bit longer). State that it's urgent and why in your document return request form.
All information given is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

HO received - 9/9/2016
Payment - postal order
Confirmation email - never receive
Biometric letter received -28/9/2016 dated 27/9/2016
Biometric send - 28/9/2016

EEA applied in April (27th) with straightforward case and still waiting. I can't believe the HO. I must have the slowest case-worker in the world.

Simplest way is post question in public so all 100,000+ members have opportunity to help.
No numbers, no emails!

And why even use current 'monster' form?
- use simpler form and simplify the problem in one snap.

Been following this forum for a while now! My application timeline is as follows:

Documents sent: 30/07/2016
Payment taken: 1/08/2016
Confirmation email received: 31/08/2016

It's been another month since receiving my confirmation email, however I still haven't got the biometric enrolment letter! Getting worried that my application could have been rejected at this stage...

Earlier, simpler form:
http://www.immigrationboards.com/eea-ro ... 17223.html

Online form is a new service, google it.

If staying loyal to current, monster form, section 9 applies to the person who is the EEA natioanl who exercised treaty rights. In this case, that's you.
For absences, list month/year if you can't remember precise dates and did not keep records, booking details & etc.

But simplify your life, look at shorter form. See which floats your boat.

Application processing only begins with biometrics so you can't have been rejected yet (caseworker hasn't even started).

EEA Nationals don't receive biometric letter. Biometric letters are only for non EEA nationals.

EEA Nationals don't receive biometric letter. Biometric letters are only for non EEA nationals.
Presumably the member agonising over biometrics is non-EEA, otherwise why worry.

In any case, nothing to be done except sit tight and wait for outcome. In 2 or 4 or 6 or more months.

Nothing can be divined from HO action or inaction. Or action or inaction on anyone else's application.
Its a black box.
You may just as well poke around in chicken entrails.

No doubt hard-pressed, underpaid and poorly-trained staff are dealing with an avalanche of applications since Brexit referendum.
HO won't have prepared for it and are unlikely to resource staff, invest in systems (etc) to address it.

Hello. I have question before applying for permanent residence. Any help much appreciated. :!: :!: :!:
I am EU national. I moved to UK Jan 2012 and started work March 2012 (was waiting for NI number then looking for work). Was working continuously during this 5 years part and full time. I am applying as qualified person who is working.
Can I apply straight away once 5 years pass from the day I moved here (jan 2012) or from the day i started work (march 2012)?
Thank you very much for any replies
