please see the following thread. the interview questions are there.. They asked me the same questions. It was more than45 mins long. I was self employed. got the interview after six months.

Hi guys,

Long time reader first time writing something. Hope i can get some help here. I applied for Ilr on 26 may 2016 along with my misses dependant application. Yesterday i recieved a letter that they could normally decide the application decision in 8 weeks but now they want to interview me.

Initial: emplyment + self emplyment 50/50
Extension: Employment + self employment 50/50
Ilr: Employment + self employment 70/30

Just to mention i did ammend intial tax in january 2016 and paid every thing.

The letter has both my name and DOB and my Misses name and DOB as well and only my case ID.

I dont understand why they put my misses name in the letter.

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

Probably because your wife's dependent application depends on your ILR being granted.

I have received a letter for interview today after 6 months. They are going to send a new letter with a date etc When ...only God knows !!

No one has recently heard after the interview. People like me are still waiting over a month to even get a date time and location. And some of them are waiting since may end after the interview to get the decision .

Unsure about before April if some 1 got any reply.
Anywaywe saw a very sudden surge for interview 's recently

My time line 15 Jan 2016 posted app . 13th June dated letter saying blah blah blah they would lemme kow about etc et. Nothing heard yet .

My timeline is applied 24th May 2016, Biometric given 10th June 2016 and received letter of interview on 18th July 2016 (dated 14th July 2016).

As detail will follow so lets see what it brings

Initial application: 100% Self Emp
Extension: 50/50 Empl/Self Emp
ILR: 80/20 Emp/Self Emp

Had done 2 amendments too late last year...

@Winter_Summer: would you be able to share your interview experience in detail if you don't mind? I know you have shared few lines on the other thread but if you could share in detail, would be great. Thanks

Did you submit your amended sa302 along with your file? Probably they will ask you about the self employment from 2011 and would ask you about the client details too

It stated that it would take longer than 6 months. I dint receive any letter after that initial interview letter.. its been more than a month now...

Just wondering if you made a mistake with the period you applied because that seems pretty fast compared to the people that applied in January/February and still waiting. I also applied Mid May and nothing yet

Thats what confuse me i applied end of may and my letter states that they normally take 8 weeks to process but now interview. How can that be 8 weeks considering people applied jan/feb.

I am not sure guys what's happening... I applied in may and got the letter in june end.. I can see that koolking and aamir in this forum too applied in may and received the interview letter already..
