Visit Visa for Husband

Post by roxyali3005 » Wed Oct 19, 2016 9:29 am

Hi everyone,

not sure if this is the right place if not please re-direct!

I am applying for my hubbys visit visa to come to UK from pakistan to visit me and our son for a few months. will be putting application in end of this month inshallah!

I have a few questions if someone can help.

my husband will be funding his own trip so i have not given any of my own bank statements - is this ok ?

i live with my mum atm so do i need a letter from her or the landlord to say my hubby can stay there / housing report?

from my side i have given my sponsorship letter and also invitation letter. anything else ?

The reason he is coming for visit is because i haven't seen him since last year neither has my son as I've been looking for a job. I now have a job and i am on probation so i do not want to risk this also my child is in nursery i don't want to disturb his routine. We are planning to move to Dubai next year hence we are saving money and i don't need a spouse visa for the UK.

I hope all this made sense. if there's anything else i will need to send to my hubby for him to attach to the application please let me know

many thanks !!

Hubby needs to convince caseworker he will return home at end of trip.
So business interests, family, property, job, pets & etc.
All that is gold does not glitter; Not all those who wander are lost. E&OE.

yes he has his employer letter which states if he doesnt return to work within 6 months he will lose his house ( which his parents and younger sister live in) - i presume this is more than enough for them to know he will defo return.

Can you just clarify if i need to send a housing inspection letter or a letter from the landlord to say he can stay at the house?
