T1E visa (£50k/share capital) extended after 8 months!

Hello everyone

I am please to inform you that my Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa has been successfully extended after I applied 8 months ago!

£50,000.00 category
I used share capital and not directors loan
I did not use a solicitor

My timeline-

Applied on 13 Feb 2016
Biometrics done on 05 Mar 2016
IMM surcharge refunded 16 Mar 2016
Interviewed on 18 May 2016
Home Office requested for further information 06 Oct 2016
Further information sent 11 Oct 2016
BPR card received this morning 22 Oct 2016

It was really a long wait!

You mentioned after attending interview 18 May 2016 , Home Office requested for further information 06 Oct 2016. Could you tell exactly what information they requested ?

They wanted evidence of some specific business contracts I said I had.
They also wanted 2 years business bank statements to confirm my turnover
Evidence of some purchases I claimed I made- invoices and bank statements to confirm
Evidence from my bank statements that I paid my employees

It is quite unusual as interview is normally the last stage of case assessment and after the interview they don't ask any further evidence.

During your interview did they ask questions about the information you supplied on for 06 Oct i.e business contracts , how you pay Employees , Suppliers/Purchases details and did they mentioned you they will be asking in writing the evidence to support your answers ?

I guess they simply wanted further information to clarify the points I raised.

I didn't submit my bank account statements in Feb 2016 as I simply used a letter from my bank confirming I had a business bank account.

I just got a query for u and also other gurus regarding share capital investment.please advice.

- If the money is transferred to business account in more than 5-6 different transactions . What date can we put while filling the application, for
table 3b1 : "Date of investment in the format dd/mm/yy " ?

- And if we prepare 'register of members ' , does this needed to be done on Company's Letter Head ?

I submitted my register of members but it wasn't on my letterheaded paper.

Whenever I issued new shares I updated my company's records on Companies House. I also printed new share certificates

Thank you Napoleon ,but in table 3b1 of application did u put all the dates when ever u updated the shares or just one date ? , ie : the first time u got ur first shares updated at companies after ur first investment ?
And can you also please share ur reg of members certificate (excluding the names on it). It will be really helpful please .

I put all the dates.

When I registered my company some years ago the agent who helped me with the registration gave me a booklet that contained samples of minutes of meetings, share certificates, registers of debentures, members etc. That's what I submitted. I haven't received my documents back from HO so I dont have a copy or sample. But I believe you can get a sample online.
