Time limit for the WP Dependent to away from UK

Post by Sam123 » Sun Dec 26, 2004 12:11 am

Hi everyone

Merry Christmas!!!

I am a Visa National here on a WP, my wife would like to go to India to do some Computing course along with my baby for 8 months. My question is -
Is there any time limit for the WP dependent to stay out of UK for ILR?

I will apply for the ILR in June 2006 , so if she return back just before the ILR application, will she be eligible or not?

Your all suggestions will be highly appreicated.

Thanks
Sam

I dont think there is a time limit.

Why cant your wife do the course in the UK?
Where there is a will there is a way.

Thanks for your reply, she is planning to start course in SAP, which is really very expensive in the UK and very ceap in India and will also able to get some experience. Could you please double check for me that she will be OK to apply for ILR.

Thanks
