Email to contact UKVI?

Hi all,

I'm a Tier 2 (general) in the process of changing employers.
My new employer has an unrestricted COS to assign, but they think the wording in the Tier 2 guidance is confusing - therefore they would like me to request official confirmation in writing from the Home Office that an UNRESTRICTED COS (and NOT a restricted one) is applicable in my case when applying to change employers.

I couldn't find an email to write to - only a telephone number.

Is there a preferred email address for queries like these?

As far as I know this is the email address most of the HR write to in regards to sponsor and UCOS.

However, let me clear out things for you Restricted COS is given to people who are outside UK and it is limited number but Unrestricted COS is given to people who are already in UK even if you're changing Employer and it is unlimited.

You need to get UCOS not RCOS.

@above.. almost correct.. except for some instances where someone inside the uk needs a restricted cos as well, like pbs dependents of tier 4.
