I received mine after almost 3 months and fee days and I know a few people who waited the similar time lines. We got our 1st letter in June and the 2nd letter came in September giving time almost 10 days toll 20 days for the interview date .
I don't think so I think the letter yuu would receive would say if anything is needed mine said please don't get any docs and similar lines a few ppl I kow had it
I think however it's a good idea to keep everything prepped up before hand incase after the interview they want something maybe ?
You can't hand over papers to tell cw as the interview is done thru Skype and I don't think so where your interview would be held they would be able to pass the docs.

what would be the best reply if they ask why you choosed Se instead employment at the time of extension and
Secondly why you are not doing Se for ILR( I ve both employment at this time).

Hi Vesh,

Its not that tough, you can say you have got contact so you were SE and this time you have employment so you are on employment.

Dont think they will ask you this type of question, i have been for interview and same situation but they dint ask that type of question.

You have been called because of some discrepancies in your past or now, They will ask you mainly on discrepancies .

Dont think they will ask you this type of question, i have been for interview and same situation but they dint ask that type of question.

You have been called because of some discrepancies in your past or now, They will ask you mainly on discrepancies .

Just need to ask when you got the interview date since first letter. I received the first letter on 1st oct stated the interview date n venue would be in following letter. I'm still waiting for that.

I never received the 1st letter I found it only when i went through MP. I then chased the HO and they sent me the Interview letter by email and post.

No Amendmemts, interview was focued on to grasp info and to figure out if the business was genuine.

Just received Interview date 2nd wk in Nov.Tier 1 general ILR application. Did tax ammendments in 2012 all tax paid to hmrc.Did overseas earning +UK earnings. Interview tips would be well appreciated.thanks

I'm in the same situation now. Received interview notification from UKVI yesterday. I did totally miss to file my SA from 2012 and did them all just a week before applying for ILR. But, I haven't amended my tax and have paid tax for whatever earnings I claimed for me extension. In fact, I had overpaid and got a refund few months ago. So, I am really unable to guess what it could be that has caused the need for an interview.

I did show earnings as ltd company director and PAYE. I wonder if that has landed me in the trouble!
I do have some proof of the work I did for my client and do have the necessary qualification.

My quick question is - if in case my ILR gets refused, will I be able to get Tier 2 given my employer agrees? Just worried if the ILR refusal will cause Tier 2 refusal too.

when did you apply for your ILR, could you share your timeline

My timelines are:

20 May 2016 applied for ILR.
Biometric done in 6 weeks time.

Apr 2013 applied for extension
Apr 2011 switched from psw to Tier 1.

Is your sa updated in hmrc records? . Did u show dividends + paye for your ilr application or hsmp ext?
I guess you can switch to tier 2 if anything goes wrong. tbh if u paid all taxes and if there is no tax liability even if u didnt submit sa you can fight ur case. If you had amendments then it would have been worse.its shocking they sent u this letter now when its almost 6 months since you posted your application.
