Kamoe,You can also request your passport and BRP back while the application is decided. Look at my timeline, I got them back in September, while still waiting from my RC.

How did you request your BRP and Passports back ? Did you write a cover letter during submission or did you wait until you got your CoA before you requested your documents back ?
