Approval/Rejection

Dear Members,

I just wanted to check what documents UKVI send at both times when they either approve or reject a visa.

Approval: Do they just send a approval letter first and thereafter they send all the original submitted documents.

Rejection: Do they just send a refusal letter and don't send any original documents and retain the documents.

I would be grateful if any member who got approved and refused would share their views?

Once your visa is approved they send you approval letter followed by a separate post containing all your document. Then once you are refused they'll send you the refusal letter containing the reasons why your visa was refused. At this time if your leave to remain has expired they'll retain all your document with two options either you challenge the decision through AR or you buy your ticket and pick your document at any airport of your departure. However, the only reason they can return your document back to you after refusal, is if your leave to remain is still valid. Hope this help you

When you say all your documents, do you mean everything including FPS, payslips, company papers/tax certificates, annual returns etc, or just applicants passports and ID documents?
