Time Scale to get a Unrestricted Cos

Can someone advise on the time frame to get a unresticted Cos from the home office.

The company is newly registered sponsor and the HO did not allot any unrestricted CoS to the comapny.
Now the company has requested for one unrestricted CoS.

Hi there, I'm not sure if I am answering your question correctly.... but my application to get a unrestricted CoS assigned to me has been in for 5.5 weeks - hoping to hear early next week.

There's a new priority service in which the company can pay a fee to have any decision on allocation or sponsorship licence changes processed in 5 working days. Might be worth checking.

We used this priority service. Your sponsor need to log in SMS and under COS allocation request for more COS once completed request you will see a contact number to home office. Then over the phone need to pay £200.
Then you will receive COS in SMS with in five working days.
Need Sponsor license number and Debit or credit card to pay.

My company applied on 14th Nov'16 with that priority service paid £200 but till date nothing has arrived, when they called few times, the answer was bit confusing saying its for 5 days consideration and not issued in 5 days, it may take more time, any idea on why it would take more time? btw its for my tier 2 extension and its due on 26 Dec'16

Hi All

Just to share that we have received COS and finally we managed to assign it and applied for visa. It took around 20 days (14 Nov'16 to 5 Dec'16) and they didn't even send any email or letter, it was just showing there as unused COS in SMS.

Could you please share what did your employer put as justification for needing UCOS? My employer got their request for additional UCOS rejected by the Home Office, and wondering what's wrong.

Hi,

Not sure how involved you were in contacting the priority service but my company applied for Annual COS renewal on 15th Nov and tried to call today to pay for priority service but its impossible to get through between stated time of 9:00 and 4:00 pm ! Hopefully we can get through tomorrow

Update:

The company had requested the UCoS on 21st November and they got it today i.e. 09th December. No priority service taken or calls made.

Hey that's good news, when is your Visa expiring?

Finally, managed to get through an agent and payed for the
Priority service, could not wait as I want to get the visa before Christmas.

Another Update:

Got the COS in few hours of making the payment !

Can finally apply for the Visa extension.
