Tier1 Entrepreneurs Extension visa

Hi Zimba,

Please I need help for my tier1 entrepreneur extension.
I received a letter from home office on 29/12/2016. Saying that,
"Although we would normally decide your application within eight weeks from the date it was submitted, unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case. This is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require further time to consider your case thoroughly and reach a decision."
My question is that mean I will be interviewed regarding my application.

My friend received the same letter but including that "this is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require to interview you"

My time line was:-
24/10/2016 submitted my application
29/10/2016 biometric was done.
29/12/2016 received letter from home office.

It doesn't mean anything except they are taking longer than the standard eight weeks (which does not seem standard anymore)

An interview about your own running business for an entrepreneur should be the easiest thing in life...

wats the date on letter? have u received IHS so far?

if you will be interview it will be specified (just like in your friends letter).

What was the date on the letter please?

The date of home office letter was 29/12/2016

I am not receive IHS Refund and my friend too.

Our catagory £200 k

Routine letter from HO. Nothing to worry. Possibly you both are going to be interviewed, so you will get a letter regarding your interviews soon.

I agree with others nothing to worry.Basically HO taking longer time in some cases.thatswhy they informed you.
Its good thing they atleast give info.

My tier 1 visa extension application nearly 7 months and i am still waiting for the descion.

Home office has expedited the process after October. I know more than 10 person who applied in October and got visa within 8 weeks. Only one team and others were individual applicants.

whats the date on your friends interview letter?

is it necessary that once the first letter is recieved for interview then they definately send the second letter or in some cases they dont even take interviews after the first letter is sent.

I received the same letter today but it doesn't say an interview. I am the sole director of my company and on 50 K route. Applied for Ext 7th Dec, Bio 29th Dec and letter received 13th January 2017. Could you please update us when you receive any further communication from HO. Thanks

I too received the same exact letter without the "we require to interview you" part.

Applied Dec 11th
Biometrics Dec 29th
Letter received Jan 13th

I am a 50k extension applicant as director of my own company.

This is a normal letter and expected from HO, as I said above. Wait to hear back from HO for more information

I have also received same letter today

Biometric Done on 27-02-2017

I can see some people receive letter in December and January
Did tou receive any update after that . Or anyone forgot visa
