Post by stanmore06 » Wed Jan 11, 2017 8:50 pm

Hi Noajthan,

In addition to the above, I believe I'm also qualified for the 10yr long residency under the immig. route as I've not broken my continouos residence or overstaying from initial student entry clearance which date back to 2005. Can you advise if this could be an alternative and if I have to go through my appeal before considering it.

Thanks

Hi all,

Thanks for all the updates and timelines, is very useful and that way at least we know that we are not the only ones waiting...

I'm EU National and my husband is no-EU national, we send my application as a Quality Person and his as a Family Member together, since that was the recommendation.

Below my timeline:

Application sent on 07/06/2016
Received by UKVI on 08/06/2016
Mooney deducted on 14/06/2016
Bio Metric Letter received 01/08/2016 (HO issue a Biometric letter on the 14/07 but we never received, I send an email by the end of July asking why we didn't get the Biometric instruction and they issued a new one on the 29th July)
COA Right to Work Received on 04/08/2016

We are still waiting, I called to UKVI around 13 of Dec 2016 and they just say that we need to wait, that our application is still on progress, but they don't say anything else. I call again today and they will give me a callback in 3 to 5 working days, probably to say the same, that we need to wait....

Best luck to all!! as soon I get news I will update here.

Hi

Do you mind me asking how you were able to demonstrate dependency in your successful application as a non Eea? I'm asking as I was refused due to lack evidence of dependency.

Thanks

Hi,

Hold tight and keep praying. The 6 months according to the home office starts from the date you submitted your biometric and not when your application was submitted. I know this because I complained about it and that was the reply from UKVI.

Goodluck.

Hi
We had a solid and strong proof of continuous living together over the last 6 years (including bills, mortgage statements, bank accounts etc all docs as joint accounts; and all documents spread evenly across last years).

Hi All

EEA Citizen and Non-EEA spouse applied together in single application

Application submited on 22nd June 2016
Reached HO on 23rd June 2016
Cant remmember dates when money was taken out and biomatrics
COA was address to Non-EEA spouse only which apparently is normal
PR BRP for Non-EEA spouse Received on 9th Jan 2016
All the original documents and EEA Citizen's Registration Card received on 11 Jan 2016

Interestingly BRPs start date is 5th of Jan 2017 but since application was submitted on 23rd of June 2016, the enclosed document confirms that we are eligible to apply for Citizen on 23rd of June 2017 whereas I would have thought full year after PR will be completed by 5th of December 2017.

Off to Life in the UK and Eng. Prof. Tests now.

Good Luck!

Your only option is by post regardless of residence document your spouse has received.
Dear all ,

Our EEA PR timeline below

Application received 4th of July 2016

Payment taken 7th of July 2016

Biometrics done 18th of august 2016

COA received 21st of August

Documents and PR Still waiting for EEA National and non EEA national .

Called Helpless helpdesk ample of times since end of 6 months wait which was 4th of January 2016 Of EEA contact center who do not know anything apart from generic information call after call they give conflictive information .They escalated to someone who had no clue about cases all she said from she is calling from UKBA she can only see the case is pending and its with case working team that is all she can tell and she has no control over any information any way forward to that .Her reply was it is only now a waiting game with no gurrantee she advised best would be write to the address from where COA has been generated I have sent numerous letters emails no response will keep trying and keep waiting which is seriously frustrating if we get any response we will surely keep you all posted .

It is now seriously taking well over 6 months and have few more freinds who on the same boat and calling each other over daily practice just to know if any one of us had received anything.

Good luck every one and we hope to have good news soon . :D
Dear all

Quick update up untill now have written to Liverpool L39PP and Durham EEA application center

Have complained to UKBA complaints team I have also wrote to MP for regarding delay of application.

Sent numerous emails to Permanent Migration team .

Called them yesterday again they took my details and said someone will call back within 5 days this is the second time they took my details as it is now 6 months and 3rd week is on trott.

Once I receive any update I will certainly post on here .

BREXIT has been turned out as a nightmare for all of EEA nationals and their family members.

Prayers and hope can be relied upon which is now wearing very thin.

Good luck for all of our waiting games .

Kind Regards,

Fadi

Hi

You don't need to worry. your six months timeline for the home office starts from the 18th august which is the date you submitted your biometrics. I know because I got a written letter from the HO explaining this to me.

Hold tight and keep praying

Just received a phonecall second time from UKBA I have been told decision was made on 14th of January and package has been sent out on yesterday at 07:00 pm and on its way hopefully things should be good in that much awaited envelope.

I will certainly let you know once I receive handful of documents.

@stanmore

You can file compensation and make plenty on their reply as it is not true what they have replied to you refer this issue to your MP and he will sort them out with irresponsible reply.

Here is my (non-EEA) and my husband's (EEA) application process:

Hi again,
I am back with an update :)
BRP for non-EU received: 17.01.2017 with an issue date 13.01.2017
Submitted documents and EU husband's RP received on 24.01.2017 with an issue date 13.01.2017 (they were not in a rush!)
As mentioned earlier by another person, enclosed letter states that my permanent residence has started in June 2016, therefore I am eligible to apply for naturalisation June 2017 :D :D :D

Hi guys,

Here is our timeline (me and my wife applied together for EEA PR):

13/10/2016 - application sent
14/10/2016 - application delivered
21/10/2016 - payment taken
27/01/2016 - PRs received!

That was quite quick to be honest :) BUT! Unfortunately, my name and surname are misspelled. I had called to helpline twice and got two completely different advises:
1) send an email to biometrics@
2) send PR with cover letter and copies of documents back to Liverpool

Did anyone else have the same problem? Did you send PR back? Or maybe I need to send an email to BRCerror@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk? Would be great if someone could share their experience :)

Non-EEA PR after 5 years in the UK married to EEA/British (using Transitional rules):
Application sent : 13 July 2016
Application received by HO: 14 July 2016
Money taken: 18 July 2016
Biometric letter: 14 August 2016
COA letter received: Never
Called HO to see if all ok with the application: 16 January 2017 (told we will be called back. we got called back 3 hours later and told to wait.)
Documents returned with a letter from the HO: 24 January 2017
BRP received: 30 January 2017 by DX courier

They are busy with all the applications, so we did not expect for the application to be processed within 6 months.

Where do i request information?

Post by Liloinuk » Thu Feb 02, 2017 9:25 pm

Hi

I am an EEA national, lived in the UK for nearly 20 years, same job for 10.

I filled the permanent residency form online on 26th of Nov 16, paid online and then submitted the form and paperwork on the 29th Nov 16 via the European Passport Return Services. However, to this date i haven't received a confirmation email.

Could someone give me the address that the confirmation email normally comes from?

Could someone give me the number to call for information? I have already contacted them at nationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk but they told me that they couldn't help me by email.

I'm quite worried about not having received the confirmation email as I sent them all my originals and wouldn't want the enveloppe to have got lost

Would be really grateful if anyone could help or have any advice

thanks a lot

Lilo
