Citizenship by descent - Australia - 4th Great Grandmother

Hi,

I was wondering If someone could provide me with advice, support or guidance, I am currently doing my Family Tree and my 4th Great-Grandmother was born in Sydney, Australia, I have had a quick look over the rules governing Citizenship by descent and it states that one parent must have been born in Australia in order to qualify my question is does this apply to great-grandparents, would I qualify for Citizenship by descent because my great grandmother was born in Sydney.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
