/muhammadaliabad, very well said !! Almost every thread you open, you will find a moderator "telling off" someone.
I hope the main moderators take note of all the issues we've raised.

Cappachino, please were you interviewed during your initial application?

I agree with other members and have realised the moderators are going too far. A post should not be blocked unless it has something illegal advice, self promoting, and non immigration related. We are here at the forum to share our knowledge and experiences in immigration journey. Each one of us have their own experience and has his own way to express it Moderators should not tell off people and block their thread. It is causing a lot of demage to forum. I am member of several forums and one property form that used to be largest forum in UK closed down due to members were nonly allowed to speak in monotonous way! Hope moderators will understand and would not miss-use their power

Just as UKVI/HO Guidance can prove surprisingly informative (and can answer many questions) the Board T&Cs in Announcements are equally informative and should be noted.
Second reminder. For those who have not yet had time to re-read Board T&Cs.

Thank you everyone
And I wholeheartedly agree.
No I was not interviewed when I initially applied for tier 1.
Applied from outside UK. Received visa in 14 days without interview.
So I was shocked to receive the interview call at the time of extention.

Friends following is my advise to everyone especially those who are about to embark on the great Tier 1 journey.
Keep your business simple. What I mean by that do not complicate things by having unnecessary multiple businesses open and close businesses. All this leaves a foot print on your record and raises questions which HO will want to enquire and hence opens the door for the dreaded interview and then the long long and stressful process of waiting for the outcome.
Secondly
This is a tick box system.
What I mean by that is HO wants it simple and to the point. It does not matter if hmrc or any other body accepts your details what HO wants is what they have asked. e.g. if they want to see your name in the accounts for God sake put the name there.
The above is my experience and opinion.please feel free to prove me incorrect or add on to this as per your experience.

Stay in touch with the visa process.

Anyways that's water under the bridge.
Hi, First of all congratulations. Secondly, I applied on End of December, Gave Biometric start of January.
I received letter on 18th January that my case raise exceptionally complex issues and it may take time to thoroughly review and reach decision. I suspect I am expecting interview now. Can you please advise what sort of interview question can be asked on Extension? I am on same boat as yours. Received my first Visa within 14 days and now I received a letter with expectation to have a long wait on Visa Approval. Thanks

You will find your local MP address online.
Write to him/her giving all your details as to when you applied when you had your interview application case ID number
And in a few lines you can state your reason why you want your passport like in my case I wrote I had to visit my parents whom I have not been able to visit for about 7 months due to the passport being stuck.
I suggest send the letter via email and snail mail.
Also attach a copy of the letter you received from HO.

Thank you all for your kind words.
One advise that I would like to give everyone
Please keep an eye on the latest application forum as that is what will tell you what is required at the time of application.
And as I mentioned before and goes without saying POLICY GUIDANCE needs to read and understood inside out.
Good luck to all those who are waiting and those who are going to apply.
Please feel free to ask and I will do my utmost to answer and help. I owe that to the forum and it's members.

Thanks @cappachino for the kind gesture to help.

I would like to know did u applied for extension with just 2 jobs or showed more jobs than 2 ?
Did you show the P45 and RTI for all of them and also showed the CV's for them ?
How many contracts you showed ...considering your business is consultancy. Its the same for me.

I am just trying to get back in the game...my extension application i can do in March 2017 only as my visa expires in april. So trying to see what the UKBA is now seeking. I had already invested the 50K in comany shares at the time first application in 2014, so please inform what additional paperwork you gave in case you also showed share investment ?

Once again congrats and a BIG THANKS in ADVANCE.

There's no UKBA anymore so suggest up your game..
Deal with UKVI now - and use UKVI guidance.

Thanks a lot noajthan. If possible please answer the following questions.
1. Did you show CV's of all your company employees along with P60 and RTI's ?
2. please inform what additional paperwork you gave in case you also showed share investment

These questions to be directed to OP as its his topic; its not a general Q&A topic on T1E in general.
