FLR(M) 2nd Extension Success - Premium

Post by jp005 » Sat Jan 28, 2017 12:36 am

Hi,

Firstly a MASSIVE THANKS to cr001 and casa for your great advice!!

Just wanted to share my experience of yesterday's premium service I attended at Croydon. I hope the following may be helpful to anyone applying on the same route.

Our appointment was for 12:30. We arrived in Croydon and parked at Whitgift Shopping Centre Car Park 11:40ish. Please note there are major roadwork’s going on which don’t particularly affect traffic, but makes it very difficult for pedestrians to cross the road and get to Lunar House as the subway has disappeared. So it’s advisable to give yourself plenty of time to make that journey across by foot if you do park at Whitgift.

We reported to reception at 12:15 and were asked to take a seat in the cafe, being advised that it’s very busy. Our documents were taken around 13:30, and after an excruciatingly long and nail-biting wait, we were called to desk 43 at 17:45 to be given the good news.

The overall experience was not as great as our first premium application under flr(m) back in 2014 which took a quarter of the time it took today, however we got the decision we wanted and that’s what matters really.

The following is a list of supporting documents:

Identification documents

1. Passport photograph of the Applicant x2.
2. Passport photograph of the Sponsor x1.
3. The Applicant’s current and previous original passport.
4. The Applicant’s Biometric Residence Permit.
5. The Sponsor’s original British passport.
6. Our Child’s original British passport.
7. Our Child’s original Birth Certificate x2.
8. Birth Certificate of the Sponsor.

Evidence of official marriage

9. Marriage Certificate x2.

Evidence of Sponsor’s Employment

10. Employment Contract.
11. Employment Letter from HR.
12. P60 Showing Total gross earning for Year 2015/16.
13. Payslips x6.
14. Bank Statements x6.

Evidence of Accommodation (E-LTRP.3.4.)

15. Letter from Sponsor’s parents confirming we lived with them for some of the period we were relying on.
16. Original Tenancy Agreement in Joint Names.
17. Extension Agreement in Joint Names.

Evidence of Subsisting relationship

Documents Addressed to us both:

18. Joint Bank Account Statements x6.
19. Council Tax Bill x2.
20. Water Bill x2.
21. Home Insurance Renewal Letter.

Documents Addressed to Applicant:

22. Work letter.
23. NHS x3.
24. TV License x2.
25. Bank Statement x6.

Documents Addressed to Sponsor:

26. Electricity Supplier Letter x2.
27. Credit Card Statement x6.

Evidence the Applicant meets the English language requirement (E-LTRP.4.1.)

28. IELTS TRF used as part of a successful previous partner application in 08/2014 whereby the requirement is met in accordance with Appendix FM-SE 32D. Passed at CEFR B1.

I would suggest to organise the documents as follows;

1. FLR(M) Application form.
2. Original supporting documents.
3. Photocopies of supporting documents.

Compile original supporting documents orderly and follow the same order for the photocopies making sure to leave everything loose and not make use of plastic sleeves (However we were told we can use sleeves for original certificates only).

Many Thanks again for the help received in this forum!!!
