Combining applicant and sposor income

Post by legalkhan » Sun Jan 29, 2017 12:01 pm

Dear forum members and moderators,
Could you please help me coming out of a confusion by addressing the following question.

Can the applicant(my wife) combine her salaried/non salaried income with the salary I take from my limited company?? The main question is that I had started taking salary from 4th month of my company registration i.e (£1000, £1000, £1500,£1500,1500,1500,1500 15000) and my wife salary is £750/month for the last 6 months from some other company. So far in the most recent financial year my wages come up to £11500. And my wife's gross annual salary come up to 9000 approximately and has taken 4500 approx so far. Do we have to combine it like 11500+4500=1600 Or 11500+9000=20500?? or 18000+9000=27000.

£9000==>my wife gross annual
4500==> she has earned so far
11500==>I took salary so far
18000==>my annual gross salary from my limited company

Would really appreciate if moderators also comment.

thanks.

I think your query relate to self employment for which I believe many members are unable to answer exactly because a lot of documents might need to prove to HO that self employment is genuine. You need to read official financial requirement booklet. But if you (sponsor) or your partner with valid leave if working for an employer which income meets the financial requirement then you should better to use Category A or B route.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thanks Seagul for your reply,
Actually that the only way I can apply through because I was on Entrepreneur visa and my ILR(LR) is in process. will Submit my company accounts with in a week time. On Entrepreneur visa I am not allowed to work for other employer. I believe they need CT600, business statments, personal statement, my salary slips, account office reference and probably my P60. Don't u think it would be enough to go for it. And my wife has also got her last 6 months wages slips and employer letter.

What do u think????

I have taken advice from a few people and studying the guidence say the samething. I have posted this thread to get some more opiniins or atleast some one who had been through the same situation. But looks like our case is very unique.
Anyway we hope every thing will stay right.
