MN1 question Section 3 Treaty rights

Post by Orsolya » Mon Jan 16, 2017 9:22 pm

Hi!

I'm completing the MN1 form for my son (4.5 years old), who was born in the UK to EEA national parents. I and my husband got our PR certificate recently.
We are applying under Section 1(3).
If we both have PR certificate do we need to fill in the

"Parent who is an EEA national exercising EC Treaty rights." It is under Section 3 / 3.13 and asks about employment history, WRS.... ?

I was told by one of my friend who filled it in recently and has PR certificate, that we need to fill in this section. My husband thinks we don't need to fill in this section.

Can someone advise on this question, please?

Thank you in advance.

Section 3 is for 3(2) & 3(5) applications not for 1(3).

biometric enrolment - nationality vs country

Post by Orsolya » Sat Feb 04, 2017 11:16 pm

Hi!

My son got his biometric enrolment letter and It says I should check if the details of name, nationality and date of birth are correct.

It says his name and after that Hungary. I think this should be his nationality, but Hungary is a country. His nationality is Hungarian.

Should I write to them or leave it as it is?

Thank you.

Not to worry - country name is often used to denote nationality. Same on mine no issue.
