Original Bank statement

Original Bank statement

Hi All,
I requested Barclays to issue me paper original paper statement for previous months, but they said that they can provide only the copy of the statements. is it acceptable at HO?

Duplicates from the bank are accepted

but there is no difference between the duplicate they send & the one we print out from online banking!

Please get them Stamped from respective bank and it will serve same as original.

When you request a copy statement from Barclays normally they will send you the duplicate statement along with original letter saying" while duplicate statements are not like original,,,,". As long as you have that original letter with copy/duplicate statement you are fine,,,,,,

I have received duplicate statements to serve to HO too!!! I thought it will be accepted.
Do we need to stamp? really?they are in their letter heads...

No, printouts need stamp not duplicates that bank send you

Barclays sent me with the letter but they are black & white. Is it acceptable?

No, printouts need stamp not duplicates that bank send you

Thanks Zimba, big relief!!!.... yeah these statements were posted to me from the bank in their original letter heads.
