Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Partner

Dear All,

i have a Tier exceptional Visa Expiring October 2018. I recently applied to bring my wife to the UK (using the https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/home/welcome). I applied under category (Settlement-Settlement-Wife). The UKBA got back to me and said I applied under the wrong category. They mentioned that i need to reply back to their email- I thought i should reply and ask for clarification as to what category i need to choose.

What should I do? ( I am panicking-)
Which Category should I apply under to bring my wife?

I ve paid for IHS and application fees. Would they reject my application based on this mistake (which wasnt intentional )?

You did apply in the wrong category. You are lucky they notified you, many members get an outright refusal.
