Interview Letter After postal Application ILR SET O

Hi all
I Received interview letter today and my interview is first week of January.

I applied on basis of 5 year on HSMP and during 5 year period i was employed by 2 employer.

Please advise me,if anyone gone through same situation .
what kind of questions i will aspect??

Hello adviseplease,

You might expect the questions like, how did you manage both the jobs, is your coursework related to the job, etc.,

also questions like, who's your manager, strength of the team......

Ensure that your hours of work didn't clash.......

Just an advice.........better see a legal adviser if you think it is necessary in your case....

hi all

With interview letter they send letter 'CURTAILMENT WARNING'
it says that if your not qualify for leave & your visa refused and you may served with notice of intention to remove.

Is there any one receive same letter with interview letter??
I am so worried.

How many of us here recieved a complex letter first or checking with other govt departments letters; and then called for an interview too later on ?

i had my interview UKVI on skype for 45 mins

They asked me questions like, how did you manage both the jobs, is your coursework related to the job, also questions like, who's your manager, strength of the team, mangers names (spelling )how many hours you working, how you traveling, cash withdrawals , is their anyone compelled you to do something which you do not wants to do

awaiting for outcomes , stressful days.

please you all well prepared, they are grilling nicely.

if anyone got result after interview please update, how long they are taking after interview.

I posted my Application in the last week of April 2016

I have gave my bio metrics in the 1st week of June 2016

Received first letter in the last week of September 2016 stating that they need to interview me to make a decision

Havent received any follow up letter about the date and time of interview...

Havent received any complex letter....

Please update any one else is waiting for the interview date letter, Please post timelines..

You do not carry any documents,as your interview will be on Skype.
Mine was on Skype..hoping your one will be on Skype too.(But i will suggest just take it with you in case you never know).

Be prepare about your job,earning,how you managing your hours,cash withdrawal and your expenses etc,how you are traveling to Ur work,manger's names & your colleagues names etc and many more questions.

Please do not forget to share your interview experience and ask how long they gonna take to send results.

Hi Vesh

I believe a website is very common tool to publicise your business and this makes your business more credible in any application you make to Home office.

If someone does not have a website they can get clients through referral, word of mouth, newspaper advert, distributing leaflets, social media etc.

Firstly, Thank You "Adviseplease" for sharing your interview experience it helped to an extent.Had my interview yesterday at VFS. It was a video interview it was exactly 1 hour. The lady who took my interview was not a case worker. Case worker prepared some questions and she was asking those questions.

The Questions I remembered are as follows :

1) Are you currenty employed ?
2) what days you work ?
3) how many hours you work ?
3) what time you work ?
4) During the earning period you claimed for you have shown 2 employments one so how did you managed what days you worked at your other job and what time you worked ?
5) R you self employed ?
6) Your client doesnt have a website how does he attract customers ?
7)We have checked company house site and your client company status its dissolved are you aware about it?
8)You client turnover was very less in returns he filed how can he pay you £3000 in 2 months.
9)Do you have contract with the client( please send the copy of it)
10)do you work from home or at client place ?
11) if you are working from home and you dont need to travel to meet your client then why did you shown travelling expenses in your tax returns 2016 ?
12)Who are your client customers ?
13)How do you attract customers ?
14) How did you got this client ?
15)Do you have your website ?
16) What type of insurance is needed for your business ? Do you have it ?
17)How much does that cover ?
18)During so and so month you have done 2 jobs and self employment how did you managed ? It doesnt matc h up?
19) What time and days you done self employment ?
20)You have done large cash withdraws from your business account why ?
21)You have transferred your overdraft money to one of your account under your name ( Please send the bank statements of that account )
22)You got advance pay from your employer for so and so month when you are earning this much why you need advance payment ( Needs a letter from employer explaning this )
23) hmrc Records shows your income is less when you are not applying for visa ?
24) they havent asked me any question about tax amended I had a small amendment for the year ending 2011 ?
Finally do you want to add anything else ?

So, Now I have to send those 3 documents ( bank statements. Client contract letter, Employer letter about advance pay)

The lady who took interview said this is the last stage of the application and they will make a decision soon.

As you all can see they are clearly suspicious about my SE earnings. Ijust need to send them the document will do it the earliest possible I ll leave the rest to the god.

I tried my best in the interview. My simple suggestion to other members who are due for an interview make sure you go through your application and earnings information all the best.

Is the above all the questions are based on your current ILR application or they asked you questions ( employment or self employment) from your initial or extension applications as well.

For eg: 18)During so and so month you have done 2 jobs and self employment how did you managed ? It doesnt matc h up? - Is this question is based on your current application or previous application.

If you don't mind, what is your ILR application i.e Employed or self employed or ltd company director or a combination of those.

All the questions are on the earnings period I have claimed for ILR. The havent asked me a single question about my previous extensions.

For my ILR application I was employed and self employed ( Sole trader). The employment income I have shown with 2 jobs one of the job I left when I started self employment.

They havent asked me anything about tax amendment I have on my initial application.

What is the status of your application ??
