FLR under Tier1

Post by aruni4470 » Thu Feb 14, 2008 10:29 am

I have got my initial approval and have applied for EC. I have a doubt now. IF i get EC and when I go for an extention after 2 years, will i be required to take English Test? (I have got the approval by submitting a letter from the university that the degree is taught in English).

I already got an EC starting september 2007 to 2009. till when i need to file an FLR, do i need to re-take the IELT test; i have alredy taken one IELTs test to get my initial HSMP approval? will i be following the new teir rule or it will come under the old rule?

Thank you for your comment. Can you please explain me a little more about it.

See, IELTs people say that there report will only be valid till 2 years. I have taken IELT exam on 13th May 2007 and got EC approval on 14th sep 2007, therefore by the time i apply for FLR, it will be out-dated.

Or do you mean to say that, whether it is outdated or not, i am still able to show the same old IELTs report. Please explain

Thank you very much

thanks.
So thats mean, i have to follow the new teir for applying ILR.

One more question, one of my friend need to apply for HSMP initial approval and he will file his case in april under the new teir. As one has to score 75 points

does it mean
55 + 10 (english) + 10 (accomodation) = 75
or
you have to score 75 + 10 + 10

Can anyone explain
