carers allowance

my carer is on carers allowance, just started this month, and he has just got a job, he would like to bring his spouse from morocco, and is asking is their a minimum time he has to be employed before he can apply, he will apply on the adequate maintenance route, for which i understand that he will have to show something round about 114 pounds per week after all housing costs. i kindly request advice from anybody on this forum
