TIer 1 G to ILR - Document Checklist

Post by Ladodga1506 » Mon Mar 27, 2017 12:38 pm

Hello Gents,

Apologies if asked lots of times, but can you confirm these are correct docs for proof of 5-year residence?

I am TIER1 from 01/May/2012, planning to apply on 01/May/2017. During this time worked at same employer.

So I believe I need to provide:

1) 5 years P60s
2) Last 12 months payslips
3) Letter from employer (with some special text??? Or just confirm that I was employed since 2012?)
4) Excel print out with dates matching stamps in my passport (in-and-out of UK since 2012)

And that is it? Correct?

Thank you a lot in advance for your time,
Lev

My 5 cents to the list.

1) last 12 months payslips
2) last 12 months bank statements
3) P60
4) LIUK Test
5) English language requirements
6) Employee Reference letter from employer(s)
7) Letter about leaves and absence from UK

This checklist is specific to Tier 1 General to ILR (5 year route), no contracting, just permanent employee for company in UK

Gents, pls validate !

I have heard conflicting information regarding P60's for Tier 1 General ( 5 years) to ILR

Is a P60 for all 5 years required or not?
What if you are not able to find for a particular year? Can you use the Annual tax summary for that year? Any help would be appreciated.

Also if you have a PEO appointment do you need a cover letter to explain the documents as the case worker will let you go for a couple of hours before making the decision. The cover letter may be of some help?

The question is do we need a P60 for this route? Can HO ask for documents like these during PEO even though these are not required or mentioned on the HO website?

Hi

The HO don't specify P60's as a requirement for ILR application.. so why do we need to submit, 12 months payslips and bank statement is enough for the evidence of income.( attach the employment letter if you have a glowing one)

Let them ask for any further documents, that's what i believe and experienced with the HO.

Many Thanks
Sal

Thanks for your reply Sal.

I agree the P60 is something they havent listed in their requirements. However I will keep it handy just in case they ask for it.

Also if you have a PEO appointment do you need a cover letter to explain the documents as the case worker will let you go for a couple of hours before making the decision. The cover letter may be of some help?

Hi
Cover letter is indeed helpful, i did sent it with my ILR application.

Infact make an index of your whole application, that would make it look more presentable and user friendly to even the most hostile caseworker lol

Thanks
Sal
