Premium Upgrade

Hi:

I have applied for ILR through on basis of 10 years long residency. My last visa was Tier1 Entrepreneur.
Biometrics done 10 weeks ago. Due to my father illness I need to travel.
Will I get a result on same day if I go for premium upgrade ?
And should I go for it or wait for current application ?
Has anyone experienced it ?

You should be able to do it under SET(LR)

You have to request the upgrade with HO. They decide whether to upgrade it or not.

I am confused and hesitant. Some of my friends says that I am wasting money because it's already in process and chances are more that I may not get result on same day.
So I thought if someone here has gone through same situation.
