Citizenship ceremony location

Folks
I have recently applied for naturalisation. The citizenship ceremony dates in my council have long wait times. I was wondering if there is a way to change ceremony location after application approval (hoping it gets approved)?

This can be a lengthy process as your council will have to return the registration to the HO before the venue can be changed. You may want to pay the higher fee to have a private ceremony.

You are better off paying to have a private ceremony
