help. Can someone decipher what this means?

Post by lovemyhorse » Thu Apr 20, 2017 1:40 pm

This is the message I received regarding my appeal for my spouse visa. We've been married almost 20 years and my settlement visa was denied citing no proof of a legitimate relationship. Argh!!! So is this good news and what happens from here.

The ECM was not satisfied that the decision to refuse the application was correct and it was withdrawn for reconsideration. A caseworker will be in contact soon.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Looks like the ECM was not satisfied with original decision by the ECO and hence Appeal withdrawn.
ECO will have to look at it again, which may be good news for you in getting your visa
