HMRC issue

Hi,

I was on Tier 1 General since 2007 - 2012.

During that time i was employed and self employed and submitted the accountants declaration to the Home office, but my accountant did not submit the tax returns during that period.
Due to some reasons had to go back to India for 6 months and the when came back the clock started again in 2013 - 2018.
I am going in for my ilr in 2018, will the tax returns which was not submitted to HMRC during 2009. will it come up now please advice what to do.

On which category you are going to apply for ILR in 2018?

If you were on tier1 then you should check the records with HMRC and sort out any differences between the income you Hv
declared to HO and taxes you have actually paid.

You have got enough time to update HMRC data. Try to get good accountant and explain your matter to him, he would solve your issue.
