Hello All !!!

I have an interview today it was 1 hour and 10 min long.. i have been asked nearly 50 questions. All of the questions were on Employment base.
1. how long you working for this xxx company?
2. hour rate?
3. job role?
4. working hours?
5. Availability?
6.why two jobs?
7. As being a director of a ltd company why you need another employment?
8. why u dissolved your last 2 companies?
9. how come u have that much turn over in first year?
10.why income is low next year?
11. who were your clients?
12. name any 2 clients?
13.Nature of business?
14. how do u charge them?
15. do u charge per hour or for whole package?
16.do u drive?
17. how do u approach your clients?
18.do u have website?
19. business insurance?
20.why these companies or clients choose you?
21.who is xxx why u more often transfer money to him?
22.why your bank statement does not reflect any payment from clients?
23.do u charge your client with your traveling ?
24. where do u find your clients?
25. whats ur education?
26. what skills you have to attract your clients?

Most of the questions were repeated but 99% of questions were just about my business and clients and services. at the end of the interview, she asked me that if i have any question for her I asked her that i know you are not my case worker but I wonder from your personal experience how long would it take to get decision on my application. she replied i cant give you any specific time but most probably as interview is the last stage towards deciding your application so it would not take more than 3 to 4 weeks. All together she asked me 50 questions some of them were repeated and rephrased.

all the best everyone...

Hi Saleemd,

I wanted to find out if you had received a letter/ email of acknowledgement of the application from HO. Better yet a letter to enrol for biometrics?

Hi all,

I applied for ILR T2G on the 18th of April 2017 via post.
Application received 19/04/2017
Application fee deducted 20/04/2017

I wanted to find out how long until I receive either a letter of application acknowledgement or invitation for biometrics?

Regards

Hi all
Today exactly after one year and one day to my application received latter from UKVI asking about my doughter. I also haven't applied my son ILR as because both are born in UK

"Dear sirs
As the home office is dedicated protecting and safeguarding the interests of children, we therefore would ask that you now confirm the whereabouts of xxxxx xxxxx born in UK on xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, as we have not received an application for indefinite leave to remain in Lin with your own application.
Please supply your response by 19 may 2017 using the enclosed self addresses sticker."

Can please some one suggest me what should I reply to them and do I need to tell them about my son as well
Thanks in advance

Assuming you intend to register your children as British citizens once your ILR is granted, write to HO and state this and that you will be registering them as British Citizens under Section 1(3) of the British Nationality Act, which is an entitlement to register due to being born in the UK, once you are granted ILR.

Your username and user 'happy85', the link I already posted, are posting on the forum from the same IP address. Your questions/dates of amendments and repaying tax to HMRC are virtually the same. So no need to get stroppy, I was merely pointing out the issue and rules.

After that questionnaire and supporting documents you are going to send to UKVI, if they have doubt or any concerns they will call u for interview. And will ask you questions regarding your employments make sure what ever u write in that questionnaire u should have a good grip on to that.

Hi
No I have not received any questionnaires only face to face interview call. I was on Tier 1 general to ILR and I did 2010-2011, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 amendments, paid all tax and this year tax is already under set DD Plan. My 75% employment and 25% was my sole trader business. let see how it will go. God bless us. I know everything about my business as it was 100% genuine and real. Nothing has been made up.

hello all,

I have been following this forum for quite sometime to see the progress of postal applications and i can clear see that there are lot of people awaiting a decision. i applied through post in october16 and and still awaiting a decision although its over 6 months. I have got in touch with my local mp who has sent a letter to homeoffice and there is no response. I need to travel to india in june for my dads 70th birthday and i wanted to be there as its a special one. I have filed a petition in change.org requesting homeoffice to consider changing the process of ilr application in future by returning the travel documents once the biometric is done. The reason i am doing this is there is no way i am getting a response from home office except that my application is in progress. It would be great if you all can support and help more applicants in the future. below is the link. pls sign the petition and forward to your friends to sign this. I am sure we all can make a difference to how they treat ILR applications in future.
